The first attack of Incinerator is ready, the MCD entitled "Thrash Attack" will be released in the end of May. Their first full length will see the light of day late 2000.
The new album of VonGroove, titled "Driving Off The Edge of the World", sees the band returning to a harder edged direction. The album should be out as you read this.
Joe Lynn Turner's new still untitled album which is set for release in June is all finished recorded and the songs will be mixed during the next weeks in New York.
German Power Metal legends Helloween are currently writing and recording their new album in Spain. The album, untitled yet, will be produced by Roy Z.
Pegazus from Australia have troubles with their line up. Their vocalist Danny Cecati has left the band due to musical differences with the rest and the band is currently looking for a singer to fill the hole. Their bass player, Corey Bets, also left the band to start a new melodic metal band.
The new album of Paradise Lost is currently in production. A possible title for the album is "Believe In Nothing" and it is rumored to be a back to the roots album.
German metallers Rage have plans for three new releases in the next year. The first will be a rarities and b-sides album in September, the second a new studio album scheduled for release early next year and finally a live album to celebrate their 15th anniversary due out next spring.
The next release of the newly reformed Armored Saint might be an album containing live material plus some leftovers and unreleased songs from their "Symbol Of Salvation" period.
Avalon are finishing their new album. The album is scheduled for a September release, it's title is "Eurasia" and it will be produced by Sasha Peth.
Cage's new album, "Astrology", and will be out in early September. Astrology will be a pseudo-concept album where the songs are all separate entities, tying in the 12 signs of the Zodiac. Each astrological sign will be represented by a song that contains elements relating to the corresponding symbol.
The new album of Fates Warning, titled "Disconnected" is already finished, but it won't be released until the end of July. The album is heavier than their previous works and it features a guest performance by ex-Dream Theater keyboardist Kevin Moore.
