Morbid Angel have confirmed that they will be playing at this year's Wacken Festival in Germany on August 5th. This will be the band's first live appearance following the recording of their seventh album, known only so far as "G" and the first time the new material will be aired anywhere in the world. Morbid Angel are currently in the studio in Tampa, Florida recording the new album which is due for release in September.

Al Pitreli will be the new guitar player of Megadeath. Al has left Savatage to join Megadeath which means that now Savatage are in search of a new guitarist.

Lacuna Coil after the release of their new EP "Half Life" will soon enter the studio in order to record their new full length album. The album is expected to be released sometime during Summer and it is yet untitled.

At last the new album of Trans Siberian Orchestra is about to be released. The tile of the album is "Beethoven's Last Night". In related news Savatage are currently recording their new album and Paul O'Neil is writing his musical "Romanov - When Kings Must Whisper".

Usurper from Chicago finished recording their new album at Nomad Studios is Texas. The album is titled "Necronemesis" and King Diamond has done some lead vocals as a guest.

Grave Flowers has signed a deal with Last Episode, Germany. They will release the debut CD from Grave Flowers during this summer. The CD is entitled "Solace Me" it includes 7 tracks of melodic doom/gothic metal combined with beautiful sadness and emotional clean vocals. The playtime is over 38 minutes.

The new album of Mental Home from Russia, titled "Upon The Shores Of Inner Seas," is now available. This time the band opted for a more progressive style, while still keeping their trademark sound of expressive, sorrowful and melodic metal.

The new dark opus of Nocturnal Mortum, "NeChrist", is due out for release in July 4th. The band mixed elements from their past releases and have delivered an album that is truly aggressive and highly melodic at the same time.

The "Hellfire Holocaust" MCD from Holocaust will out in middle of May. Their full-lenght album is planed to be out in the beginning of 2001. There still isn't a studio defined to record this full-length, but it will be done in the Sweden for sure.
