Too many concerts to announce for the following months. In May Saxon will visit Greece for two shows. One in Thessaloniki (May 5th) and one in Athens (May 6th), Gamma Ray will follow with one show in Thessaloniki (May 20th) and one show in Athens (May 21st). Then Testament will close the indoors season playing in May 27th at Hydrogeios club in Thessaloniki and May 28th in Rodon Club in Athens. Then on June we have the very possible live show of Demons & Wizards, though the date and venue are not confirmed yet. Of course in July there's Rockwave Festival with Iron Maiden, Dream Theater and possibly In Flames.
Queensryche will release a best off album in EMI on June. The album will be one week delayed and it will finally be released at the end of June. Word from EMI has it that the album wll contain several photos from different time period, a small bio of the band and some words written from the band.
The new album of King Diamond will be released at June 20th. The man is currently putting the finishing touches to the album which is produced by Andy La Roque and Kol Marshal who produced the latest Fates album.
Armored Saint announced that they'll have to pull out of Wacken Open Air Festival because at the same time Anthrax will be touring the United States and John Bush has to follow them. The situation will affect all their live appearances from June 20th to September 10th that unfortunately have to cancelled.
The Swedish atmospheric rockers Katatonia entered the studio in the home country to record their new album. So far they have finished recording the drums and they continue with the other instruments. As for the sound, the band says it's their most Cure influenced album they have done so far.
The new album of Vanishing Point is recorded and ready for release. They have recorded 11 songs for it but there is not title yet for it. The band is currently looking for a label to release it.
There are some strong rumors around that Ratt have been dropped by their label. After Stephen Pearcy left the band things just aren't the same for them. Maybe it's time to split up in dignity before they destroy everything they have build so far.
Ravenous, the new band consisting of Chris Reifert (Death, Autopsy, Abcess), Danny Liker (Brutal Truth, Nuclear Assault, S.O.D.) and Killjoy (Necrophagia) is working on their debut, "Assembled In Blasphemy", for Hammerheart Records.
