Los Angeles Death Metal veterans Sadistic Intent have finally finished work in the studio on their next opus, "The Second Coming Of Darkness". The album will be released sometime during June 2000.
Fresh Century Media metalheads, Shadows Fall, releases "Of One Blood" soon. The label is describing the band as a mixture of American hardcore and Swedish death metal.
Line up changes for Babylon Whores since their bass player Jake Babylon and their guitar player Ewo Meichem have left the band. They have already been replaced by Taneli Nyholm on bass and Antti Lindell on guitars.
November's Doom will enter the studio soon in order to record their new studio album. The title of the album is "The Knowing" and it will be released in August.
The 10th album of cult band Vicious Rumors will be released in May and will be titled "Sadistic Symphony". The recordings of the album have already begun and they will be finished by the end of February. The new singer of the band is Morgan Thorn. James Murphy (known for his work with Death and Testament) will play as a special guest.
Poison are currently in the studio working on four new songs. The new songs will go to the new live album of the band as bonus tracks. The recording process was delayed because Bret Michaels and another band member were down by the flue.
The live album of Voi Vod (recorded back in 1996) is finished and the artwork for the cover is done. The band is getting ready for it's next studio album and they are trying to find a new deal with a record company to release it.
According to Nuclear Blast, Savatage were not dumped by Atlantic. The band was unhappy of the promotion Atlantic did and negotiated a way to brake the contract.
A new Death Metal / Grind band has been born. the name is Ravenous and it features Killjoy (Necrophagia), Danny Lilker (S.O.D./ Brutal Truth) and Chris Reifert of Autopsy. According to Killjoy, it's time to "end some speculation that Autopsy is reforming. This is not the case. Chris Reifert, Danny Lilker and I are currently working on our debut release. It is very sick, noise infested, raw death metal. A deal will be announced shortly".
The new album of Kings X is titled "Please Come Home Mr. Baldus". The band has finished working on the album and it will be released in May.
