The new album of Dokken will be a live one and it will be released in February 22nd. The title of the album is "Live From The Sun/Best Of The West". The new studio album of the band will be released later this year, since the band has already started working for it.
Dimmu Borgir will enter the studio in March and April in order to record their new album. The release date for the forthcoming and untitled yet album has not been announced yet.
Heavy Metal legends Judas Priest are about to enter the studio in order to put the final touches to the long awaited new album. According to Glenn Tipton the delay can be blamed in two things. The first is that they had to change label for America and Japan (they signed with Atlantic) and the second is that the father of Glenn is ill and he requires some attention. Glenn said that the new album holds some elements from "Jugulator", but the band has also moved into a more melodic path, similar to the classic Priest sound.
Extreme metallers Usurper from Chicago have completed working on their new album "Visions From The Gods" which will contain their demo and some new and live songs. But not everything is good with the band, since their bass player Jon fell of a two store roof and injured his heel and his wrist.
The new album of Brazen Abbot will be released in March or April although it might be released under the name of Nikolo Kotzev's Nostradamus. The album will be double, lasting more than 100 minutes, featuring a 35 piece orchestra and telling the story of the known prophet. Various vocalists will perform each one role in the album with Joe Turner as Nostradamus and Glen Hughes as King of France.
According to the lead singer of the band John Bon Jovi, the new album of Bon Jovi will be a lot like "Slippery When Wet", which means that the band will attempt a back to the roots change of direction. The first single of the album is "Say It Isn't So" and it will be released in March, while the album will follow in May.
San Diego based metallers Cage are hard at work on their next studio album. The title of the album will be "Astrology" and sources close to the band say that it sounds like a mix of "Painkiller", "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" and "Unveiled". Well I say that a big mouth never helped anyone.
