The new album of Einherjer will be titled "Norwegian Native Art". The album was produced by Andy LaRoque (Of King Diamond fame) and will be released soon.
John Myung (Dream Theater), Ty Tabor (Kings X) and Derek Sherinian, are all playing in Platypus. The second album of the band, titled "Ice Cycles", is scheduled to be released in March.
Two ex-Krabathor members, Bruno and Pegas, have formed a new band called Hypnos. The recruited R.A.D. to play the guitars who is the brother of the current Krabathor drummer. In related news Krabathor will do some shows in Japan through late March and early April with Carnage.
Obscenity have finished working on their new album. The album is titled "Die Harder" and is going to be released the last day of February.
The title of the new Ashes You Leave album is "The Inheritance Of Sin and Shame". The band has finished the album and it will be released on February 28th.
Seed Of Hate have released their debut mini-CD, titled "A Tragedy Of Lustful Art". They are playing Symphonic Melodic Black Metal with very extreme drum machine parts.
John Rocker a player of Atlanta Braves baseball team made some really nasty comments about foreigners and gays in an interview. This pissed of Twisted Sister who asked from the team to stop using their song "I Wanna Rock" to introduce the player in the games.
After splitting up with Black Sabbath for one more time Ozzy is hard at work for his new album, which will be released in June 29th. No more details are known yet, but we'll keep you informed with news as we learn them.
The next release of Emperor will be a live album. The title of the album will be "The Emperical Live Ceremony" and it will be released in March. Later on they will release their whole back catalogue as a five vinyl box set. In related news Ihshan and Ihriel will release in April the new mini-CD of Peccatum titled "Oh My Regrets". The mini-CD will feature a cover of "Blood Red Skies" from Judas Priest. The next full length of Peccatum will be released later this year.
There are some strong rumors over the net (and not only the net) recently about Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford having recorded a song together where they trade vocals. Mind though that we have no official information and still nobody knows in which album it will be on.
