Concert news first as always. The first concert is this is Riot in February 4th at Bug Club. Then we have Deep Purple who will visit Greece in April 12th and 13th for two shows in Athens and Thessaloniki. The Hard Rock legends haven't visited Greece for quite some time so it will be a perfect chance for all to check them live. On April 15th in Thessaloniki (Sadistic Noise supporting) and 16th in Athens (Less Than Human supporting) we also have Deicide who will play their Death Metal at Rodon Club for one night. I think it was about time to see a descent and well organized Death Metal concert in Greece. Possibly in April we will also see Therion playing live and then in May Saxon and Gamma Ray will play live.
Good news for Chuck Schuldiner. The father of Death Metal has successfully undergone life-saving surgery in a hospital in New York. The operation lasted nearly 10 hours and luckily was not stopped since the agreement about the cost required was made the last hour. The doctors who performed the operation were not paid at all and we should thank them for that. Chuck is in good health, awake and fully alert. Those who wish to send money, cards, or other items can write to Schuldiner's mother, Jane Schuldiner, at 609 E. Citrus St., Altamont Springs, Florida, 32701. We at Tombstone Fanzine are wishing Chuck the best.
