The drummer of Stratovarius (on the picture left) Jorg Michael was injured while playing football. Hopefully this will not affect the recordings of their new album, titled "Infinite", which will be released at the end of February and the single that will be released in January.

Blackie Lawless and his band WASP are preparing a best of album that will feature only their heaviest songs. The album will be released around March and among the 12-15 tracks will be three new songs that have never been released so far.

Motley Crue are currently in the studio writing new material for their forthcoming album. It's going to be the first with drummer Randy Castillo who replaced Tommy Lee.

The beer metal legends Tankard will enter the studio in January in order to record their new album. No release date or title have been announced yet.

The band of ex-Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley, will release it's debut album in March. The title of the album is "Silicon Messiah" and the band is currently shopping for a deal with a label in order to release the album.

The next album of American Power Metallers Jag Panzer is going to be a concept one and it will be based in Shakespeare's classic "Macbeth". The band has already started working in it with producer Jim Morris.

Thomas Gabriel Warrior, known for his work with Celtic Frost will publish a book about the history of the band, titled "Are You Morbid ?". In related news his current band Appolyon Sun will release their debut album, titled "Sub", in February.

Waves have finished working in their debut album, "Songs From The Planet's Soul". It is almost all instrumental and the style varies from metal to a more bluesy style. Anybody interested should contact them at studio.hacienda@zirovnice.cz

Bobby Barth and Bob Harris of Axe is hard at work writing additional songs to pick from for the new upcoming studio album which will be recorded during the first parts of the new year.

Danger Danger are putting the finishing touches to their new album, titled "The Return Of The Great Gildersleeves". The album will be released in February.

In the first months of the new year Von Groove will release their new album. The album will be titled "Driving Off The Edge" and the band is currently working on it.

Inner Shrine from Italy will release their second album, titled "Fallen Beauty", this month. They are playing progressive avantgarde music with a dark atmosphere.
