Concert news are not at all poor for next month. The first concert is this of Uriah Heep at Rodon Club on November 5th. This legendary hard rock band will visit Greece once more, to remind us their past hits and, of course, promote their latest album, "Sonic Origami". It's a chance for all the people who have never seen them before to do so. Then at November 13th, Ancient Rites from Belgium will present their extreme metal in Woodstock for the first time in Greece. Finally the re-united Destruction will play live at Ydrogeios Club in Thessaloniki at November 26th, while at November 27th and 28th they will play in Woddstock Club in Athens. It's the second time they will visit Greece and I hope that this time they will play more than the 60 minutes they played in the previous visit. There are also rumors for a possible Primal Fear concert and another one by Crimson Glory but nothing is certain yet.

Lock Up, the project of Nick Barker (Dimmu Borgir), Pete Tagtgren (Hypocrisy) and Shane Embury and Jesse Pintado (both from Napalm) have signed a deal with Nuclear Blast. Their already finished album will soon be released by the label.

Tom Naumman and Primal Fear have parted ways due to health reasons. His replacement will be Alex Beyrodt from Sinner who will handle the second guitar for the band on their tour.

Cradle of Filth were forced to cancel their European days due to the departure of guitar player Stuart Anstis and keyboardist Les Smith. They left the band due to personal differences including this of a common musical goal. Former members Paul Allender and Gian Pyres have joined the band again.

The recordings for the new album of Sentenced have finished. They recorded the album in Helsinki and it is scheduled for release early next year. The title of the album is "Crimson".

The new album of NWOBHM legends Raven will soon be released. It is titled "One For All" and produced by Michael Wagener, the man who also produced their famous "All For One" album back in 1983.

Review of the week:

DOMINE - Dragonlord (Tales Of The Noble Steel) / Dragonheart

Whenever Morby is involved in an album you can be certain of certain things. First the style will be epic Power Metal. Then the vocals will be of the highest quality. Finally the album won't be crap. This rule applies perfectly to the second album of Domine. Based on the amazing saga of the white haired prince, Elric of Melnibone (written by Michael Moorcock) it features some excellent power metal songs. In it you will find all the ingredients of a god Power Metal album. Dwelling guitars, thundering tempo changes, majestic keyboards, swords and magic and, above all things, the wonderful vocals of Morby. This man can sing in various moods and he can easily move from the low aggressive vocals to the high screaming vocals. If you are into Epic Power Metal, then it's an album you can't afford to loose. Long live Elric. May Arioh protect you !
