Dark News Tape (October, 6)

- As the weather is turning colder and all the indoor venues are opening their doors, more and more concerts are being announced. Fates Warning, one of the best Progressive Metal bands around will play live at Rodon Club at October 24th. It's the second time they will visit Greece, but since virtually nobody saw the first concert (due to the lack of promotion from the agent), it's the first time that the Greek audience will have the chance to catch them live. Cradle of Filth will play at the same day in a venue that's yet to be announced. Probably the first time that such a big Black Metal band will play live in Greece. Finally Vader from Poland will play their Death Metal live in Greece in October 9th at Woodstock club. There are many more concerts in the plans, but they are not confirmed yet, so we are not announcing them.

- The band formerly known as ACID BATH have changed their name to The Agents Of Oblivion. After the death of their bass player they just felt that they needed the name change in order to continue playing music.

- CATHEDRAL will release an album with material from their early years. The DAT was found under Lee's bed and the title of the album will be "In Memoriam". The live part of the album was recorded in Holland back in 1991 and was left under the bed of guitarist Garry Jennings. You know I can't stop wandering what else they might find under their beds if they look more thoroughly). The album will feature the original line up of the band.

- The new album of DIMMU BORGIR will be more Deathish and more brutal according to band member Silenoz. The new album will contain keyboards and some clean vocals. The guys have already started writing new material, but they haven't done any work on the arrangements yet.

- Joey Belladonna will re-unite with his former band-mates at ANTHRAX for their upcoming b-sides album "Attack Of The Killer Bees". He will do the vocals in one of the songs and he will be part of their shows. New material (with Bush singing) can be expected sometime next year.

- VICIOUS RUMORS are in the final stages of finishing their new album "Sadistic Symphony". According to a press release from their Public Relations office, Joey Belladonna will be their lead singer in the album.
