The new video of GWAR "Rendezvous With Ragnarok" didn't get the FSK in Germany, which means that it isn't available in the stores. You can only buy it through some mailorder companies or directly when the band is on tour. There shouldn't be any problems in other countries. MERCYFUL FATE are ready to enter the studio in October in Dallas, Texas. The next RIOT album will be released in Europe under the sign of Metal Blade! The band just finished the recordings in Millbrook Sound Studios, New York. Mark Reale, the band leader produced the album by himself and Paul Orofino engineered the next masterpiece of melodic Power Metal. The album release is scheduled for January 1997. The line-up for this album is: Mark Reale-Lead Guitar, Mike Dimeo-Vocals, Mike Flyntz-Lead Guitar, Pete Perez-Bass, Bobby Jarzombek-Drums. Let the RIOT begin! Chicago's finest AVERNUS have released their debut album "Of The Fallen" through MIA Records. I hope that the band will finally get the recognition they deserve. IN FLAMES will have a new album out by the end of this year. Apparentely it'll be more in the vein of traditional heavy metal (read - Iron Maiden) but will still contain cool melodies; well, I'm sure I'll like it, and so will you. SWORDMASTER will release their first full-length called "Post Mortem Tales" on Osmose. Joined by Night of Dissection, it promises to be one hell of a black metal album. FULL MOON RECORDS became an official distributor of MALICIOUS RECORDS in the US. By the way, they are ditributing the debut album Borknagar who have signed with Century Media recentely.
