Microwave 2-3 minutes (depending on the power of your unit) until cheese melts.
Optional: Add toppings before heating.

KEBOBS...No need for nutritional guilt here, especially if you base your dip on low-fat yogurt or sour cream.
    Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Shrimp
    Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms, Cherry tomatoes
    Strawberries, Grapes, Apple chunks, bananas

Skewer your choice of meats and veggies.
    Broil or barbecue.
    Skewer your choice of fruits.
    Eat with a sweet dip.

INDIVIDUAL PIZZAS...Depending on what you put on your pizza, you could have all the basic food groups here.

    Pizza dough (home- or ready-made)
    Tomato sauce
    Grated parmesan cheese
    Shredded mozzarella
Optional toppings: slice pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, you know what you like

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Divide dough into portions that can be worked out to approximately 6"-rounds.
    Lightly brush with olive oil.
Spread sauce over dough, leaving a 1/2"-1" crust.
    Sprinkle with cheeses.
    Add toppings.
    Bake for 25 minutes.

HAMBURGER COOKIES...No nutritional value whatsoever. Just plain fun, just plain good.

    Vanilla wafer cookies
    Keebler Grasshopper cookies
    Can of vanilla frosting

Color half the frosting green and half yellow-orange.
Spread green (lettuce) on one vanilla wafer (bun), and orange (cheese) on another.
Place a Grasshopper cookie (hamburger) in between.
Squeeze a bit so the frosting oozes out, making the cheese and lettuce visible.

With these choices, the kids in your life shouldn't be bored or foraging for snacks. And as a reward for your tolerance, and maybe clean-up help, you get to indulge in the goodies too.

Days of summer bliss to you!
