Do Your Homework

how many people hold home sellers to a higher standard of housekeeping than they do themselves. As a home buyer, I’ve toured houses with excessive clutter, minor and major damage, and no attempts at cleaning. I’ve driven away from overgrown, unkempt lawns and worn exteriors and peeling paint. People do look in closets, cabinets, accessible storage spaces and garages. They’re looking for a reason to eliminate a listing and make their decision easier. Eliminate as many of those reasons as you can and you’ll increase the chances of your house being their choice.
