ESCAPE! (mini-vacations, and Doggie Adventures)

I never raise my voice to my rescues---Never---but I sure did in that moment!! I cursed, and told him to get his Blankety blank in the van NOW!!

It must have really startled him to see Mom so angry. Sheepishly, he gets into the van, and I drag home two wet, muck encased Pyrs! Mud and muck flow out the van door as I open it to get the dogs out. My van looks like... like... well, it doesn't look good. I hose down the two mud babies, settle all in after their little adventure---and pray they are ready for a nap! I know I sure was…

Escape! Visions of mini vacations, of rabbits to chase, of exotic scents to dazzle the senses---Doggie Dreams. Every so often a Rescue will stand at the gate, wistfully remembering their little adventure.

And now every gate has a padlock!

Thankfully, there were no accidents--but let this tale show that you can NEVER be too careful in safeguarding your pets. Secure fencing IS a MUST, and we need to keep vigilant to insure their safety.
