Yummy Red Bean Pudding Recipe

The foundation of being beautiful is eating well! So here is a yummy recipe...

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup of red beans (cooked till soft)

  • 4 ounces of rice

  • 2 1/2 cups of milk

  • 4 egg yolks

  • 4 tablespoons of sugar

  • 4 ounces of fresh whipped cream

  • 2 tablespoons of gelatin dissolved in 1/4 cup of water

  • 1 cup of water



    HOW TO DO IT:

    1.Wash the rice and add the water to cook it till it is slightly dry.

    2.Add in the milk and cook the rice until soft.

    3.Mix the egg yolk and sugar well.

    4.Add in the remaining milk to the imxture of egg yolk and sugar, and cook to a moderate consistency.

    5.Add in the gelatin dissolved in water and mix well.

    6.Pour the whole mixture into the rice.

    7.Add in the red beans and mix well until it cools and half sets.

    8.Now immediately add in the whipped cream and mix well.

    9.Pour the mixture into a mould and freeze.

    10.It's done! Enjoy your lovely desert!

    RED BEAN (Adzuki) FACTS:

    It is an excellent source of fiber, folate and a good source of iron, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus.

    In Japan, Adzuki is very popular to make Japanese sweets and Osekihan(red rice) which is made for celebrations.

    Adzuki beans specialize in removing water accumulated in the lower region of the body.

    Adzuki bean sprouts are good for blood in stools, bleeding during pregnancy.

    Adzuki are easier to digest than most beans due to a very low fat content.
