10 Tips for Dieting

Here are 10 tips for all dieters out there, to make it easier and more effective :)

1. NO midnight snacks! This might ruin it all. Try not to eat after 8:00 pm at night, as this is important for keeping you thin.

2. Drinking lots of water is not only good for the skin, it is also good for slimming down. It helps to excrete toxins out of the body. Drink cold water before meals, as it can be readily absorbed and helps to use up excess energy in the body. Also, it can contract blood vessels and slow down the absorption of fat.

3. Keep the snack-buying for the end of the day, so that you can think about whether you need these foods or not.

4. Occasionally treat yourself to some snacks as an encouragement for losing weight.

5. When eating, try not to read or watch the TV. Pay attention to what you eat, to avoid eating too much. Chew slowly.

6. Don't wait until you are very hungry before you eat, because you will tend to eat a lot.

7. When you feel hungry, drink a glass of vegetable or fruit juice. This will help relieve the hunger.

8. Before eating out or going to a party, have some healthy high-protein snacks, such as nuts, so as not to feel too hungry.

9. Bring along with you a toothbrush and toothpaste, and clean your teeth after meals. This will help minimize your want to eat more.

10. If you are going to eat a lot, do it at lunch, as this is the most ideal time for the body to have enough time to digest it. Take a walk in the afternoon.
