Educational Publishing Success

Ok, readers, this really has nothing to do with Art Education per say, but it does has to do with me, education, and publishing. I am pleased and excited to announce that I recently sold three manuscripts to an educational publishing company based in New Jersey. I am currently on assignment for them, writing three more books! The first three, The People of Mexico, The Geography of Mexico and The Festivals of Mexico will be out in hard back this coming January. They will be marketed to elementary schools and libraries.

The three that I am working on have to do with the Native American culture. I will be finishing these three manuscripts and turning them in at the end of May.

I have tried to suggest illustrations that include major artworks for each of the texts. (Once an art lover, always an art lover.)

So, I beg your indulgence if I have gotten a bit behind with my columns. This has been and continues to be an exciting and extremely busy point in my life.
