Disability needs to be viewed in a new light.

Taxpaying citizens, in my country, and in other countries need to hear a message that has both social and fiscal components. Unfortunately no citizen, in my country nor in any other country, may hear it because it advocates change in the status quo. Therefore our task is to educate leaders on the necessity for this change. Without education, then this needed change will not come because it advocates for change in the status quo and change in the status quo is thought to be Liberal by Conservatives. Our task is therefore to show all leaders. Liberal as well as Conservative that this change is not only socially needed but also fiscally sound. What is this message? We must look upon a disability in a new light. We must begin to look upon it as an undiscovered ability not simply as an inability. If leaders, of countries, continue to look upon disability as an inability not as an undiscovered ability then they may condemn many disabled to unnecessary dependence upon governmental aid and assistance. For this change to occur, we must show leaders why it should be considered to be a social necessity as well as fiscally sound policy to remove all laws which act as artificial barriers to employment for disabled citizens. If countries, mine included, were to remove these barriers then they could most likely reduce the unemployment of their disabled to near 6%. Reducing national unemployment to near 6% would mean that lawmakers could make many disabled into productive citizens who are not dependent upon government aid or assistance.

If leaders, in my country, were to pass legislation that removed these artificial barriers then they would most likely guarantee new revenue that most could exceed THREE HUNDRED SIXTY BILLION each fiscal year. This new source of revenue could help reduce the tax burden on citizens and it could help bolster all existing social programs. This is the message that all citizens must give their leaders no matter which political philosophy they advocate.

Isn't reducing the tax burden the fiscal cry of many governmental leaders? If fiscal responsibility is their cry, then why don't they change laws that may deny their disabled citizens employment opportunities? Maybe they are afraid of losing lucrative campaign contributions? Maybe they are not Fiscal Conservatives at all but just Sheep in Wolves clothing?
