Employment factors which must be present for the disabled to gain employment 1. Equal Employment Consideration 2. Equal Employment Opportunity

Have you ever thought all I need is a chance to prove myself? You are wishing for Equal Employment Consideration. Equal Employment Consideration must be present or the disabled will never have Equal Employment Opportunity .How can one become employed if they first are not afforded equal consideration? In the words of a song these two go together like a Horse and Carriage- You can't have one without the other.

Governments may maintain that their disabled have the same Civil Rights as their non-disabled counterparts. How can we have the same rights as out non-disabled counterparts when it appears that we may have been covertly denied Equal Employment Consideration? It appears that many governments have chosen to allow their disabled to remain liabilities to employers instead of making sure that they are viewed as assets. By leaving the disabled as liabilities, haven't these governments covertly denied the disabled Equal Employment Consideration? If they have covertly denied their disabled Equal Employment Consideration, haven't they also denied them Equal Employment Opportunity? If any government has covertly denied any one of these two essential factors than haven't they insured that even their qualified disabled citizens will never be able to gain and maintain gainful employment? If they have insured that the qualified disabled will never be able to become productively employed then haven't they also insured that the disabled will remain dependant upon government assistance? Isn't this the exact opposite of what they are saying that they are going to do for the disabled?

In my country it appears that our disabled were covertly denied Equal Employment Consideration when our legislators saw fit to include Title V. into ADA. Title V contains language which insures that we will not be considered assets to employers; rather this language makes us appear to be liabilities to them; therefore the inclusion of this language may have covertly denied us Equal Employment Consideration. If we do not have Equal Employment Consideration than how does my government expects us to also have Equal Employment Opportunity?

ADA would have helped qualified disabled individuals if not for Title V and its insurance implications. So long as Title V remains unchanged, no qualified disabled person will truly be seen as an asset to the employer. If we are not seen as assets then how can we expect to obtain Equal Employment Consideration or its cousin Equal Opportunity Employment?
