A new Gem - AccessLife.com

What do you get when you gather a dedicated group of people with excellent writing skills and exciting stories for the chronically ill and disabled? You discover AccessLife.com, a new online electronic disability magazine based out of Tampa, Florida.

AccessLife.com has a little bit of everything for you to discover. Their coverage is extensive, life, sports, news, care giving tips, and everything in between. They even have an online store where you can shop for those all-important disability aids. Want to talk to other readers? No problem, they have a diverse message forum that you can choose to participate in if you so wish. Are you the type that forgets to bookmark sites? Just sign up for their email newsletter, then they can send you a subtle reminder keeping you abreast any new articles they publish. Need a chuckle to brighten your day? Visit the Humor Section under the Life Link.

AccessLife.com has gathered a rather impressive stable of writers for you to enjoy. Are you a fan of Greg Smith from "On a Roll" fame? Greg is a regular contributor at Accesslife.com. Are you a caregiver of a disabled spouse? Maybe you'd be interested in Dana Reeve's monthly articles. I'm sure you will enjoy them as much as you've enjoyed her husband's movie work. She's definitely a Superwoman in her own right!

What I enjoy most about AccessLife.com is the extensive nature of their coverage. This is not just an online magazine for disabled people. Its focus is for anyone facing a life changing medical concern either by disability, or a chronic medical condition. Maybe you are a sandwich generation member who is facing the daunting task of caring for an aging parent; then AccessLife.com would be the site for you. There is a quality blend of stories that even an able-bodied person would find interesting and informative. This is a site you definitely want to bookmark and visit every day to see what's new since new articles are focused and published each day of the month. I suspect you'll enjoy this gem of a site as much as I do. Visit this site soon, you won't be disappointed.

Suite 101 Disability Mailing List

For those of you who need a gentle reminder when a new article is posted, or would like to be notified when a new link is put up, I have developed a notification e-mail list which would have you receiving three to four more e-mails a month. If you want to be put on this mailing list, just click on my EMAIL link at the top of this page and drop me a line with your e-mail address and I would be happy to add you. You don't have to be a member of Suite101 for this service.
