Ah, the joys of summer! Ice cream, watermelon, beach barbecues with hot dogs, corn chips, and toasted marshmallows....ahhhhhh, bliss.
Until, of course, I attempt to struggle into a bathing suit. Typically, my response to weight gain is to dash to the gym and focus on cardio. It's great for burning calories, but it isn't enough. I've written before about the importance of including work with weights in your workout. What I haven't talked about, however, is just how essential it is to take time for another component: abdominal work. A few sit-ups aren't enough, though, and I was wondering just what else I could do to strengthen and tone my burgeoning belly when I came across a video that provided exactly what I wanted. The new Ab Attack video, produced by Creative Instructors Aerobics, Greg Twombly and Trish Muse, contains a superb all-around workout for your abdominal muscles. What impressed me are the quality and variety of the instruction. I have a desk job; as a result, I tend to have lower and upper back problems. Ab Attack contains workouts that not only exercise your abdominal muscles, but also stabilize and strengthen both your lower and upper back. Thanks to Ab Attack, my bathing suit fits - and my chiropractor sent me a note saying that he missed seeing me in his office! Ab Attack can be ordered by going to the Body Productions,Inc. web site at http://www.bodyproductions.com . If you prefer, you can phone orders to Body Productions,Inc. at 800-587-7628 access code 01 or fax orders to Body Productions, Inc. at (703) 924-0203. Go To Page: 1
