Kicking for Fitness

Cardio kick-boxing is very trendy -- and, if you're in good shape, lots of fun and wonderful exercise for your cardiovascular system, your flexibility and balance abilities, and your muscles. However, if you're just beginning an exercise program, it probably isn't right for your needs. You should also check with your doctor or health care provider before trying some of the more vigorous moves.

If you are an experienced exerciser, though, and your physician says "go for it," the B-Fit Cardio Kick Box video is an excellent choice.

Instructors Tara Phillips and Michael George are skilled trainers, and they demonstrate every move carefully, leading you from the initial demo of the basic moves to a sensible stretching and warm-up phase to the aerobic and strengthening moves through to the final cool-down and stretch. Because weights are involved in the strength training section, this well-designed routine definitely qualifies as providing cross-training.
