Sadey, The Pet Detective - Part Two

In the Story Plot, Sadey, The Pet Detective, Sadey and her teammates: Abby, Penny, and Tippy followed a cat named Taffy who carried a bag in her mouth. They followed her to a dilapidated building and carefully entered the building. As they watched Taffy drop her bag on the floor, they saw several shiny objects like expensive jewelry. After that, a woman appeared and greeted Taffy. Sadey and her teammates realized the woman trained Taffy to steal these items, but why?

As the story plot ended, she began to figure out the reason. Have you?

The following is the solution to the following questions, but it also includes addition story line to help the reader figure out more to Sadey's adventure with her teammates.

(1) What will Sadey and her teammates do next?

First of all they stayed hidden so the woman didn't spot them. They waited for awhile and then saw Taffy exit the building on another journey. However, instead of following Taffy, Sadey had Penny and Tippy stand guard outside while she and Abby looked for a policeman. After they located one, the policeman, Detective Mallory, wasn't too sure what they were trying to do. They jumped around and barked as if they wanted the policeman to follow them. The policeman realized what they wanted and followed them.

When he arrived at the dilapidated building, he spoted two other big dogs and called for assistance. The four dogs waited with the policeman. Within a few minutes, the policeman saw Taffy carrying a bag. Taffy entered the building. Now, the policeman really wondered what was going on. When other cars arrived on the scene, one of them asked, "What's going on here?"

"These two small dogs came up to me and wanted me to follow them, so I did. When I arrived, I saw these other two dogs. Then, I saw a cat carrying a bag into this dilapidated building," Detective Mallory replied.

"Somebody must be in there. Let's go inside and see what's up," one of the policeman suggested.

"Sounds good to me, but we better be careful," Detective Mallory said. "We don't know who or how many people are in there."

They entered the building and saw a woman standing there with her cat and the jewelry spread on a table. The woman became startled and couldn't speak.

"What's going on here," Detective Mallory asked.

"How did you find me?" the woman asked.
