Book Review of "We'll Meet Again" by Mary Higgins Clark

"We'll Meet Again" is another great book by the "The Queen of Suspense," Mary Higgins Clark. This book is about Molly Lash and the murder of her husband, Dr. Gary Lasch. Molly was convicted of murdering her husband. She spent five and a half years in prison for a crime she didn't commit. The only problem that Molly had was not remembering what happened the night her husband was murdered. After Molly is finally released from prison, she tries to remember what happened that night. Her two former classmates, Jenna and Fran, try to help her. Fran is an investigative reporter, so she starts gathering information concerning Gary's murder. She also does a true-crime show about Molly's situation. Suspicion is placed on another character named Wally that causes readers to think he committed the crime. His mother, Edna Barry, is Molly's housekeeper. Edna knows that her son was there the night Molly came home and found her husband murdered. However, Edna wants to keep her son from telling anybody what he knows because she thinks he committed the crime. There are also strange things happening at the hospital where Gary Lasch worked. Suspense continues to build throughout the story. Towards the end of the book, it is very difficult to put down. Readers will want to continue until they have finished reading. The end of the story has a very interesting twist. Readers will be shocked when the murderer is revealed. I rate this book as high as "A Cry In The Night" by Mary Higgins Clark. I really enjoyed reading the book. The language is clear, clean, and easy to understand like her other books. Anyone who enjoys suspense will enjoy reading this book. As with other books of Mary Higgins Clark, suspense builds throughout the story, but it becomes very intense in the last few chapters. Sometimes, readers can figure out who the suspect is, but in this book, readers will be surprised. The chapters are short and easy to read. This particular book contains 94 chapters and 369 pages. I recommend this book highly.
