Solution to Who's Katie's Attacker?

Bart -- Tall, slender, tattoo of woman wearing a red bikini, life guard. Also black gloves. Jim -- Heavier and shorter, tattoo of fish on his arm, enjoys fishing and boating. Also red ring on left hand. Scar -- Tattoo of a black dagger on his right arm and a tiger on the left arm. Also, wears a black ring on his right hand. Buddy -- Taller and heavier than Scar. Tattoo of a red rose on right arm. Works in a green house. Wears a silver ring with red roses on the fourth finger of his right hand.

KATIE'S CLUES

She saw a small red mark and some scratches on her attacker's right arm. She also saw a shiny red band on his finger. The final clues was the smell of something fresh and sweet that she sensed on her attacker.

SOLUTION

Buddy was the attacker. He had a tattoo of a red rose. His silver ring was shiny and had red roses. His smell was the scents of the flowers and plants he deals with from the green house.

The other suspects have jobs where they wouldn't have fresh odors on them. Also, Bart wore gloves, so Katie couldn't see anything on his fingers. Jim had a red ring on, but it wasn't shiny. He also didn't have a fresh scent about him. Scar wore black. That leaves Buddy.
