Book Review of "Coverup" by Jay Bennett.


Jay Bennett is an excellent author of suspense for Young Adults. His chapters vary in length which makes for a quick read. Some chapters are a half a page and others are two or more pages. The dialogue is also varies in length from one word to several words. "Coverup" is about a guy named Brad. He goes to a party one night and his best friend, Alden Whitlock, drives him home. When Brad wakes up from a hangover, he has a strange feeling that something is wrong, but he doesn't know what. The conflict in the story comes when Brad has to choose between right and wrong. Whichever way Brad decides to go, could prove to be fatal. You will have to read the book to find out what happens. Once you start reading the book, you have a hard time putting it down. Anyone who enjoys books with a lot of suspense will enjoy reading any of Jay Bennett's books.
