Book Review of "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" by Agatha Christie

"The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" by Agatha Christie is another excellent book of hers. Her famous Private Detective, Hercule Poirot, searches for the suspect who killed Roger Ackroyd. This book is well-written and easy to read and understand. Like all of Agatha Christie's books, once you start reading one of them you have a hard time putting it down. After I had read a few chapters I had an idea of who the murderer was, so I kept wanting to read in order to see if I was right. One thing I like about Agatha Christie's books is the way she writes the last few chapters. She talks about all of the suspects and why they are suspects. Then, each one is eliminated until the real criminal is revealed. I also like her books because she uses language that is not offensive. Some writers use so much profanity that it takes away from the story plot. To me, books don't need all the profanity that writers use. I would recommend Agatha Christie's book, "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd" to anyone who is interested in a good Detective Fiction book.
