"A Walk Through The Fire" by Marcia Muller is a

Detective Fiction book because the main character, Sharon

McCone, is the private detective. She is hired to solve a case

in Hawaii on the island of Kauai. Somebody is trying to stop

Glenna Stanleigh from making her documentary film. There are

a series of accidents, including murder, that interfere with the

making of the film. I enjoyed reading "A Walk Through The Fire" by Marcia Muller. However, I had a hard time following the plot and characters. I got half way through the book and had to start over. Even after I started over, I still wasn't sure about the plot when I finished reading the book. This happens sometimes to readers. By reading a book more than once, they will grasp more information and be able to understand the plot. Even though I had some trouble following the plot and characters, I would still recommend the book to others.

"The Partner" by John Grisham is a Mystery book because Patrick Lanigan, a lawyer, is the main character. He is on the run from the police and the FBI because of a crime he committed. He is accused of stealing money from his ex-law firm. People think Patrick is dead because he fakes his own death and attends his funeral. They find Patrick in Brazil. He also uses the name Danilo Silva.

I also enjoyed reading "The Partner" by John Grisham. At times, I had trouble following the plot, but it was easier to follow than the other book. This book is more of a mystery than Detective Fiction because Patrick Lanigan is the main character. Even though Grisham uses cops and other agents, they are not the main character. I would also recommend this book to others.
