The Solution to Meika's Secret

A. What is Meika's secret about the toys? When the robbery was committed, Meika and her parents were not at home. However, something strange happens in Meika's room when nobody is around. Meika's toys come alive and talk to each other, but they become normal when Meika or her parents are around. Meika has a toy dog named Toby who talks. He is the leader of the toys. When the robbery was committed, the toys were looking out the window. They saw who committed the robbery and finally decided to tell Meika. They tell Meika that they can talk and saw who committed the crime. They also tell

her they heard the robbers say who they were going to rob

next.

B. Will she tell her parents how she knows who committed the crime?

Meika decided that she better tell her parents about the

robbers and give them a description. She still hesitates when

they ask her how she knows who did it, but she decides to tell

them. She tells them her toys come alive when she is out of

the room. They still don't believe her. They think she is

making it up. However, she insists on tell Detective Mallory.

Her parents decide to call him. When he arrives, he has a hard

time believing her story, but he tells them that the person she

describes is the one they have been looking for. He thanks

her and sets up a plan to catch the criminals. The robbers are

finally caught.
