The solution to Tim's Big Secret


Keri was the one who lied to Detective Mallory. She had always been in love with Tim, but her girl friend, Julie, married Tim. Keri was jealous of Julie, so she decided to make up a story about being married to Tim. Keri was not married at all.

Detective Mallory knew that Keri was lying because she said she had already tried to contact her husband, but he wasn't at work. She also told Detective Mallory that her husband was hard to contact. She also said he was a newspaper reporter at first. Then, she said he was a carpenter. Detective Mallory also knew that both women showed him the picture of the same person.

Tim is only married to Julie. He had been coming home late on Wednesday because he was taking a night class to develop his writing skills. He wanted to become a successful writer and have something published. He wanted to keep it a secret because he wanted to make sure that he could develop his writing skills and have something published before he told her.
