Solution to the Neighborhood Spy CaseIn the story plot of "The Neighborhood Spy," some diamonds were stolen. Three possible suspects or groups of suspects were being watched by police. First, there were two men who were possible drug dealers. Next were the poor people who came into a small fortune. The third one was a kleptomaniac, who was the neighborhood spy. First of all, the neighbors who were suspected of dealing in drugs were not dealing in illegal drugs. They had their own business selling herbs. The neighborhood spy confused things and led people to believe they were drug dealers. The neighbors who were poor and suddenly came into a small fortune had actually received an inheritance they from a relative who passed away. This leaves the person who stole the diamonds. The neighborhood spy had problems with picking up things that didn't belong to her. She became this way because she was so preoccupied with observing the neighborhood. She wanted to see what kind of gossip she could gather about the neighbors. She had to know everything that was happening, so she could tell others about the neighbors. She also tried to find out what they did during the day, when they left home, what time they would return, and anything else that would make her crimes easier to commit. If she saw people bringing something into their homes that she desired, she would steal it. The case is solved. The neighborhood spy was the robber.
