Rococo Style (1715 - 1750)

This style was romantic. It not only needed designers, but also needed goldsmiths, painters and many other specialists.

It was an expensive style so remained popular only with aristocrats. Since it could not reach masses, it was quick to disappear. It is also described as the last wholly original expression of the aristocratic ideal in European art.
