EVERYTHING'S COMING UP ROSES!
Now for the assembly of the space. I made the duvet cover out of the ivory damask and cream and taupe scroll damask with a sage and cream cording trim. Next I made the matching shams out of the same taupe damask. I used the the ivory damask, striped cotton blend and a loden green silk fabrics for accent pillows and the bed skirt.
The curtains are sage green tab tops. I am building a cornice to attach to the ceiling. It will be covered in the rose tapestry fabric and will have a swag of bronze sheers attached to the front. The lamp shades will draped with bronze sheer fabric. The furniture is all in off white with an antique stain added to it.
My last bits will be the stenciling of rose vines going from the floor in the ceilings and ending on the ceiling. After that I can add my shelves and coordinating accessories.
Though this may have taken a bit of time, it wasn't difficult. I also have the joy of knowing I did it myself!
