If you have trouble sometimes deciphering whether news is new or old, this site can help.http://www.newshub.com/financial/ puts news into categories from recent updates to listing them in a category that says six to eight hours old. Never again will you enter that order on old news. Although you have to be careful trading on news alone anyway.The site does a nice job of scanning news sources and has pretty good coverage of overseas markets.
http://www.allstocks.com/ is great for pulling together indicator news like whats moving and accelerating on volume and price and whats getting whacked. You can get a page that updates news and charts automatically on stocks that you are watching. What a killer app. Wish I would have found it sooner.
No discussion of news providers is complete without hitting Bloomberg. Even with all the others out there you still gotta have it.http://www.bloomberg.com/welcome.html has great news and charts and covers Economic data that others never think about. If you are a macro concious trader( and the most profitable of you are) then you always have to check out Bloomberg.
On a final note, what did you think of that ride on Friday. Were you in your market proof bomb shelter or did you bang out some great trades.
