Shawn and Belle are my favorite couple on the show. They are sweet, genuine and really make a great pair. I really hated it when the show started with the Shawn is the father story. I knew it would cause heartache for everyone especially Belle. And I hate the thought of them breaking up. But the storyline has some really good scenes so far with Shawn and his parents.
I know the scenes with Shawn and Belle will be heartbreaking not only for them but for the fans as well. Especially since Shawn and the fans know that Shawn is not the father but Belle does not. She will not be able to believe that Shawn who she thought loved her more than just about anything has slept with Jan and created a child. It will be devastating for her.
Knowing the show they will most likely push Belle towards Phillip for comfort during this time of trouble with Shawn and they will end up sleeping together. I sure hope this does not happen but I have watched this show a long time and I would be very surprised if they did not do this. It will be even more awful because when Shawn finds out and he will of course it will be Belle who will have betrayed their relationship by sleeping with someone else and not him. I know they will be broken up when it happens but it will still be just awful.
I am wondering what the show will do with Jan's baby. Eventually Shawn or someone will have to tell the truth and then what will happen? Will Jan give the baby up for adoption to say Lexie maybe? Will Bo and Hope adopt the baby? Will Jan lose the baby? I guess we will have to wait and see.
Like I said I really hate this storyline but it is sure to give some really great scenes for Shawn, Belle, Bo and Hope. I just hope it will not last for months and months but this is Days after all and they love to drag out a story. I just hope at the end of it Belle and Shawn will be back together, whenever that end is.
