Of course most fans believe that the show will eventually reveal the Bo is the father. The show continues to deny it specifically Ken Corday who says that Bo is not even one of the candidates. But he would not say he was even if he were, they would want to keep that a secret for as long as possible. And believe me when I say they will drag it out as long as they possibly can.
Most fans believe that Bo had been the father all along and the show knew it all along but wanted to make the storyline last a few years so they started with John being the father. Some other fans believe that the change in father has only come about since the firing of head writer Tom Langan. Who knows! One thing is for sure the fans will be the last to know and it will take a very long time to find out for certain.
If Bo is the father it would have had to have happened when he was mime Bo. He would have no memory of it and so far Hope has had no flashbacks of what happened during that time. She is starting to have flashes but nothing concrete as yet. And of course it was all "off screen", the fans did not see any of it, if it indeed happened.
Yet the show insists that Bo is not a candidate. So who does that leave us with? Kurt, Rolf, the man that found Hope when she fell in the river, who else? I think that's it. The show will not make any one of those people the father. Bo will turn out to be the father but fans had better be prepared to wait a long time for that to happen. At least to the next sweeps period which is November. But my money is on that little secret not coming out until next year sometime.
