Let The Battle Begin

A fan favorite has returned this week though not all the way returned as yet. Lucas is back, still in a coma at present but back nevertheless.

Lucas returns just as Sami is planning her happily ever after she has schemed, scratched and clawed for all these years. She finally has Austin eating out of her hand and on his way to march down the matrimonial aisle with her again. But Kate has other plans and Lucas is the key to them all.

Lucas and Sami hate each other and even hate might be too mild a word. Kate is counting on two things happening. One that Lucas will wake up after a visit from his son Will and two, that Austin will see Sami for what she really is when Sami realizes she has been tricked by Kate. My money is on Kate to win this round on both counts.

Sami can only be so nice and acceptable so long then the real Sami has to come out again. Austin has lost his memory as to what Sami is really, truly capable of but I think he is about to be reminded. Lucas is the key to showing the real Sami to Austin and stopping their marriage and Kate knows it. Sami's hatred of Lucas will be her undoing and put an end to her marriage plans once and for all.

But what if Lucas woke up from his coma and thought he was in love with Sami?? That would be quite a twist. How would Sami handle Lucas being in love with her when she hates him so much and wouldn't it just make Kate fit to be tied if she thought both of her sons were in love with Sami! But I don't think the show will choose that road.

I think the choice has been made already and that Lucas will wake up hating Sami more than ever and vowing revenge on her for all the wrongs she has ever done to him. Sami will respond and fight back and Austin will see her for the schemer she has always been and that will be the end of Sami and Austin finally! And it's about time. If the show is not going to put Sami with Lucas then she needs to be with Brandon. Someone she can really relate to and have a lot in common with.

So welcome back Lucas and hold onto your hats it's going to be a bumpy ride!
