The Odd Couple

Nicole and Austin are definitely not the first couple that comes to mind when you think of a great couple, but after a little more thought you find they have more in common.

Nicole and Austin both came from abusive homes. Nicole and Austin both had fathers who they hated and who are now dead. They were both raised poor. They both have a lot of baggage to carry around. They have a lot in common.

Nicole has gone from man to man and is currently with Victor who is much older than she is and is most likely a replacement for the love she never got from her father. She is also using her relationship with Victor to get back at Kate, who is by the way Austin's mother.

Austin fell in love with the woman who ruined his marriage, drugged him, tried to pass her child off as his and is still plotting to marry him even though she has feelings for Brandon, who is by the way Nicole's brother.

Why not make it easy on the fans and put the couples together that belong together. Nicole with Austin and Sami with Brandon! It would make for great fireworks along the way and involve a lot of other characters like Victor, Kate, Faye, Brandon. And it would be fun to watch.

Watching Sami and Austin has become repetive and boring. It is the same thing with them all the time. Nicole and Victor can not possibly have a future and Brandon has got to have some romance in his life besides wasting it on Jen who is still in love with Jack.

So get on with it! Let's have some new couples and watch the sparks fly!
