Dysfunction Junction

I am watching the show this week and that Schoolhouse Rock song conjunction junction goes through my head only as dysfunction junction because that's what Days is!!

Nicole had a hand in her father's death, wishing him to die and extremely happy now that he is dead. She shares this news gleefully with her mother and brother. Her mother cries over a man who treated her and her children like dirt and Brandon sides with Nicole in being glad that he is dead. Ever hear of family counseling people??!

Jan keeps the details of her time on the island from everyone but Shawn. She will be confronted by her mother who treats her worse than she would treat a dog and people see why Jan acts the way she does. But she still doesn't get the help she needs.

Kate has vowed revenge on Victor for months now and all of a sudden she wants to get back together with him? As if the months of working at the diner and being humiliated by Nicole are just gone. People just don't give up revenge as deep as Kate's was. Does she subscribe to the theory you only love those that hurt you?

Then there is Marlena. She persists in telling Hope to keep quiet about JT. As a therapist, she of all people should know that keeping a secret like that is not good for anyone. But then no one ever said she was a good therapist did they?

And last but certainly not least is the woman without a conscience Lexie. She continues to plot Hope's downfall, while holding on to a child she knows is Hope's. When this storyline is over she will need a nice long stay in a padded room I am thinking.
