Nicole's Revenge© Deborah Horton
For years Nicole has suffered the trauma of what her father Paul put her through when she was just a young girl. It cost her a relationship with Eric, her self esteem, a relationship with her mother not counting all the emotional trauma it has caused her.
Nicole thought she was safe, physically, from her father because he was in prison. But that all changed when he was let out. She then turned to Victor to protect her. She thought that he could but she has come face to face with her father and now the only protection she has is a gun. Nicole knew that if Paul were with the kids on the island that they were all in danger. She knows that Paul is an evil and dangerous man, especially around young girls. And she's about to find out just how dangerous he really is. After Nicole overhears Jan telling Paul once again how he hurt her and used her, she confronts him. All the memories of her past come rushing back. All the anger and hurt. And she just can't take it anymore. Nicole shoots Paul and although he doesn't die she has yet another trauma caused by her father to deal with. On the one hand she is feeling some measure of triumph over him and what he did to her and on the other hand she feels terrible because he is her father and all she ever wanted was for him to love her like a father. Nicole has always been a very complicated character and this even will even make her more complicated and her life will definitely be more complicated. Unfortunately this isn't the end of Paul so there will most likely be more revenge to come and more troubled times ahead for Nicole, but I think she is up to the challenge. Go To Page: 1
