All the talk of putting Princess Gina's memories in Hope's head again is really starting to get on my nerves. How many times can a story be done before it's done to death? I think this one wore out it's welcome LONG ago.
Forget for a moment that the baby switch storyline has gone on for WAY too long. Forget also that the show still intends to have Marlena, Hope, Bo and John agonizing over what happened when she was Princess Gina for at least several more months maybe longer. This mind chip, brainwashing, being someone else storyline should be finished once and for all. Why does the show feel the need to do the same stories over and over and over again? And they wonder why they are losing fans. Princess Gina wore out her welcome long ago and Hope thinking she is Princess Gina wore out her welcome when she slept with John. What could possibly be the "twist" in the storyline now that would make it even remotely interesting? The ONLY thing I can think of is that if Hope as Gina would remember that John is Greta's father. But that is the ONLY reason to be subjected to this storyline yet again. Fans are clamoring for good storylines for Bo and Hope. Adventurous, hero storylines not mind chips and brain washing. Fans are waiting for a return to the days when Bo and Hope were strong, fearless characters. If Hope becomes Princess Gina again we go through the same storylines we have been having for the past year and longer. The writers need to think of something new! The show is determined to drag out the baby switch story for at least the rest of this year and who knows how much longer after that and also keep on with the turmoil between Marlena and John over all of this as well. There is no moving forward, no moving to another storyline. Fans will only watch the same storyline so long and then they start turning it off. In this time of much needed viewers the show needs to think of new stories in order to attract new viewers and keep the old ones as well. I just hope they do it soon. Go To Page: 1
