Lost and Found

Some of Days long time characters and even some newer ones seem to have fallen off the canvas. Could they be in the Salem lost and found? Let's try to find out where these characters have gone.

Maggie Horton is a veteran character that has been involved in multiple storylines over the years. Lately, she has been seen as a restaurant owner and turning into the town gossip. But ever since Stefano blew up her restaurant she hasn't been seen. Where has she gone? Did the explosion cause her to have to go into some kind of extensive therapy? Maybe she just needed a vacation after all that excitement.

Mickey Horton is one of the surviving original characters of the show. But he only shows up when someone needs legal advice and then only for a day or two at a time. Maybe his case load is so heavy that he just can't be bothered with life in Salem. Or maybe he went on the vacation with his wife Maggie.

Julie and Doug must still be on the round the world cruise. They stopped long enough to rescue Jennifer and Bo on the Ireland storyline but then they disappeared again. Maybe they paid for that trip in advance and didn't want that money to go to waste.

And what about Sami and Austin? I know that they supposedly have jobs, but they never work at them. Finally they are shown with Will for one day, but then they are gone again. Of course maybe fans are better off not having to watch Sami go on and on about how she and Austin are meant to be together for the millionth time.

I know the show can only showcase so many characters at one time but you would think they could at least explain where the characters have gone instead of just dropping them cold. I bet if we looked in the Salem lost and found we would find them there! Maybe they are all together trying to come up with some new storylines for their characters to get them more air time. Or maybe they are all just having a big party and we weren't invited!
