Too Far Gone?


Has Sami finally crossed the line of no return? Will the actions she has exhibited the last few weeks make her unredeemable? Let's examine the evidence.

Sami has always been willing to scheme and undermine others to get her way. There are those who still to this day defend her actions as a byproduct of her being without her mom, having two people claim to be her father Roman and Stefano's actions against her family. I on the other hand think she has gone way beyond the "I'm the victim in all this" stage. Sami has now begun to deliberately plan and execute the downfall of those she wants to exact revenge upon.

Let's start with poor Lucas. I know Lucas is an alcoholic, I know he and Sami do not get along, I know that he worked with his mother to keep Sami away from her son. I know all that. But he also loves Will. Sami has not had one ounce of remorse over the fact that Lucas is now badly burned and in a coma. That he may never recover. That Will may never know his real father. In fact, she spent the better part of one episode saying things to a comatose Lucas that most people wouldn't say to a dog they hated. She was venomous and outright mean and all this to a man who is lying near death.

In walks Kate, the only person Sami hates more than Lucas. Kate and Sami exchange words and the argument gets more and more heated. Kate is suffering from some kind of physical ailment and begins to bleed, a lot. After she collapses to the floor into a pool of her own blood Sami says "I wonder if she's dead." Casually strolls out to tell someone about Kate and then goes off to meet Austin to discuss engagement rings while acting like there is not a thing wrong with his mother. It is as if her conscience has been cut out and she has no remorse whatsoever.

Sami also intends to trick Austin into getting her pregnant again. A story line I am sickened to think may happen AGAIN! Of course Austin is just dumb enough to let it happen and Sami is just mean enough to sleep with both Austin and Brandon, get pregnant by Brandon and claim it is Austin's. Yet another scheme that Sami thinks she is doing because she loves Austin and can't let him go.
