Rumors, Rumors and More Rumors!

The rumor mill must be on overdrive the past couple of weeks! I have never seen as many rumors as I have the last couple of weeks and some are believable while others are a little shaky.

The first batch of rumors started when an Internet posting spread like wildfire through the Days online communities. The posting contained information that 4 Days stars had been fired. Speculation began almost immediately and people just went rumor wild. When the rumor began to shake out a little more it was posted that Bryan Datilla(Lucas)had been fired and 3 veteran stars: Maggie, Shawn(Grandpa Brady) and Caroline Brady had all been reduced to recurring status. As of this writing the show has not confirmed any of this but it seems that this is now pretty much true.

The next batch of rumors surrounded fan favorite Eileen Davidson(ex Kristen). The rumors stated that she was unhappy over at Y&R and that she wanted to return as Kristen to Days. This rumor is still making the rounds and it has now been stated that she may work both shows somehow. Nothing has been confirmed by the actress, Y&R or DOOL. I have heard a rumor that DOOL is planning to either resurrect Isabella or bring back Kristen for the upcoming Ireland story depending on what Eileen does. But as of this writing none of this has been confirmed.

The next rumor has made the rounds more often than Missy Reeves returning as Jennifer did. Rumors are flying that Stephen Nichols(ex Patch) and Mary Beth Evans(ex Kayla)will be returning to the show. This rumor has been going around almost since the day they left the show and I give it the least weight of all the rumor flying around. Until this is confirmed by the actors or the show I wouldn't put too much faith in this one.

The next two seem to be gaining credence with each passing rumor. The rumors are that Patsy Pease(ex Kimberly)will be returning to the show in late May. That rumor seems to hold the most weight of all the rumors I have heard lately. The one flying around with this rumor is that Lisa Rinna(ex Billie)will return to the show this fall after she gives birth to her second child. The rumor with this one is that Billie returns pregnant and is somehow connected to Jack. I am not sure about any of this rumor yet, but it seems to be gaining some credibility.
