February Sweeps Preview

February sweeps is generally the time when soaps pull out some of the big secrets and excitement. Days has a lot planned for the sweeps but most all of it centers around the coronation storyline.

Greta's coronation will be front and center for sweeps time. There will be appearances by many ex soap stars as guests of the coronation. Some of the stars scheduled to appear are Lesley Anne Down(ex Sunset Beach), Ian Buchanan(ex B&B and GH), Tyler Christopher(ex GH) and more. It will be a treat to see these stars for a brief time back on tv.

The coronation will be filled with intrigue and promises of a shooting are in all the sweeps spoilers. I think that it will be the ex soap stars that get shot but there are some spoilers who lead me to believe that someone from Days main cast may be shot. But I do not think anyone on the Days main cast will be killed.

Jack Devereaux makes his return during February sweeps played by the wonderful Matt Ashford. His main storyline at first will be that he wants custody of Abby. I do hope the storyline is expanded and he is signed to a long term contract. Also Colin comes to town and is revealed to be Shawn Brady's nephew.

John and Hope will be spending time together at the coronation much to Marlena's dismay. And somehow Hope will be referred to as Princess Gina! Which I hope is just a mistake! No more Princess Gina, PLEASE!

Speaking of Marlena, her upcoming kidnapping/replacement story is coming up as well. Spoilers have her being taken to Ireland by Stefano and meeting up with a woman who has a fondness for John. Some are speculating that this woman will turn out to be Isabella. Some are saying she will be very much alive and will have been hidden away by Stefano all this time.

Hattie will have a big storyline with the replacing of Marlena and spoilers are that crazy Dr. Rolf falls in love with Hattie! Now won't that be a hoot and a half! Both of them are a lot of fun to watch and that will be a good storyline for them.

Sami continues her quest to get custody of Will at all costs it seems. The show seems to be making her look like the person behind the shootings but I am not sure that is how it will turn out. I think it will the Moroni hit on Victor and it will not go as planned. Hopefully Sami won't be blamed again for a shooting she did not commit.
