As The Story Turns


If you are a frequent reader of this column you know I have jumped on the Nicole cheerleader bandwagon. She continues to be one of my main reasons for watching Days lately. The actress continues to improve and the storyline is definitely a good one, especially compared to the pathetically bad ones they have going right now.

The upcoming scoops for the November sweeps reveal that Nicole and Victor will have a change in their relationship. I had thought that Nicole would seduce Victor or maybe even Phillip as a way of exacting revenge on Victor. But it appears now that it may be a completely different story.

The scoops make it sound more and more like Nicole and Victor will actually become involved with one another because they want to! Now this would be must see tv! And it would leave that shrew Kate out in the cold where she belongs or better yet give more scenes to Kate and Nicole fighting it out. The chemistry between Kate/Nicole/Victor is some of the best on the show right now.

If Nicole and Victor become a couple that leaves a lot of people hanging around unattached. People like Kate and Lucas. I think Kate would be a good match with Roman, not Hattie or Fay. I think Fay is much more interesting with Stefano. Lucas would then be free to either be a third wheel in the awful Austin/Greta story or to finally see Sami for something other than a witch. A storyline that a lot of my Days friends would LOVE to see.

However the story plays out I will be watching. The character of Nicole is interesting and has many layers. A good character story beats a outrageous plot any day of the week for this soap fan. Rah, rah Nicole!! Until next time...
