Stop Me Obi Wan Kenobi!

Tom Langan, executive producer of Days, should be praying this each and every night before he goes to bed. The completely ridiculous and ripped off scenes with the light sabers was just too much this past week.

Not only is the storyline one of the dumbest no make that THE dumbest the show has ever done, but it is not even remotely original. The writers had to stoop to copying one of the most well known movies of our time...Star Wars. And doing it very badly on top of everything else.

I can not for the life of me imagine why anyone at Days would think this is good soap opera! I can not even bring myself to watch any of the scenes of this virtual reality story. I fast forward and read about it later online. Believe me it is no better in print than it is on the show.

I have stuck with the show through countless brain washings, multiple kidnappings of Marlena and there is about to be another, multiple personalities, devil possession and I have not given up on the show. But this star wars ripoff was just about more than this fan can take.

Now I read that Greta is being told of some child that all the world will know about. Either it's Annakin Skywalker or Jesus they plan to ripoff this time. Neither prospect makes me want to tune into this awful story. And to have it acted by one of Days most lacking actors in Austin makes it all the worse.
