The actress who plays Nicole has made leaps and bounds in her performance over recent months and has become quite good at playing Nicole. The character of Nicole has become much more layered and interesting and she always gets the good laugh lines! Except for Hattie she is the only character making me laugh lately. If you have read any of my previous articles you know I think humor is an essential ingredient on any soap and Nicole has it in spades. Both dark and very funny humor and I am laughing right along with her.
I think her efforts to get back at Victor have taken an interesting turn this week. I think she intends to use Phillip to get back at Victor. Seducing Victor's pride and joy would be the ultimate revenge. And what if she got pregnant?!! I know, it's awful for Phillip and for Chloe, whom I love, but wouldn't it be a shocker?!
Nicole can do a lot of damage in the Kiriakis mansion. She can get revenge on Victor in so many ways all of them fun for the fan to watch. And if she sticks it to Kate in the process so much the better! Kate has become a cold hearted shrew lately. She needs a dose of her own medicine and Nicole is just the one to give it to her.
I also think the show should revisit the pairing of Sami and Nicole working together to accomplish a common goal. This time to get revenge on Kate and Victor. Now that would be worth watching. Both Sami and Nicole have big axes to grind and watching them make Kate and Victor squirm would be great.
I am officially on the Nicole cheerleader bandwagon. She is fun and funny, dark and devious and tons of fun to watch. I think she is a force to be reckoned with and if the show could pair her up with a man with a backbone then the story would be even better! What about Nicole and Craig? I would even purchase new video tape for those scenes! Go Nicole! Rah, rah, rah!!
