The Return Of Jennifer

Well finally I am ready to say that it's official, Jennifer Horton will be returning played by Missy Reeves in early October. I didn't want to say she was for sure until I read confirmation from both her and the show. We all know that rumors of her returning have been going around since she first left the show so I wanted to be absolutely sure!

Jennifer's return opens up a lot of storyline possibilities especially since the rumor is that she will not return with Jack and will be involved with someone else on the show. My money is on a Jennifer/Craig pairing and wouldn't that be fun to watch?! Nancy would be the odd woman out and fighting to keep her husband would provide her even more great story to work with. Some people think Jennifer will be paired with Bo but I don't think the show will go that route but I could be wrong.

I think Jennifer would be better at getting Bo and Hope back to each other after they start to deal with the fact that Hope slept with John and that John is the father of her baby. Jennifer and Hope were very close and could be again. That would make a good story for the two of them.

As for Jennifer and Craig, Missy Reeves has always shined when paired with the rascal with a heart of gold. Jack was such a man. Not quite an angel but not a devil either. Craig is much the same person/character. I think he and Jennifer would be a great match, but I don't want to see Nancy and Craig break up forever. The triangle would be tons of fun to watch.

The show could bring Jack back after the triangle ran it's course to spice things up even more. And a big Jennifer/Jack reunion would be a big ratings boost and fan pleaser for the show, if the Jack were Matthew Ashford. He is the only "real" Jack in my opinion.

I will be watching to see what happens with the return of Jennifer and I think a lot of other fans will too. It will be a welcome storyline to take my mind off that awful virtual reality Austin/Greta story! Welcome back Jennifer and Missy Reeves! Until next time...
