Boris and Natasha

I know that most everyone out there reading will remember the cartoon characters from Rocky and Bullwinkle, Boris and Natasha. And those of you who don't can rent that new Rocky and Bullwinkle movie. But the cartoon characters are who I will be talking about in this article. And the Days characters who are Boris and Natasha you ask? Why, Kate and Lucas of course.

Kate and Lucas have become the Boris and Natasha of Days. Always plotting to undo Sami. Just like Boris and Natasha are always plotting to undo Rocky and Bullwinkle. When Lucas got an attack of conscience after shooting Franco and saved Sami from death, they had to play nice for a while. But it was only a matter of time until they thought up yet another diabolical plan.

The new plan involves herbs, poison and talking dolls. Kate, business mogul turned ventriloquist, is working the doll to drive Sami crazy while Lucas is feeding her mind altering herbs. Kate, aka Natasha, tells Lucas what the plan is and Lucas, aka Boris, does what she tells him. All for the greater good of doing away with Sami once and for all.

I am waiting for the both of them to develop eastern European accents like the cartoon characters! They even look like them. Natasha is elegant and refined like Kate and Boris is short and spineless like Lucas. This storyline would be funny if it weren't so dumb.

You would think that Kate and Lucas would learn that Sami can't be beaten! But just like Boris and Natasha they keep on trying one scheme after another, and just like Boris and Natasha they are never caught and never go to jail. It just goes on and on and on!

I don't know about you but I think I would rather watch the real cartoon than to see these characters keep making fools of themselves. Whose writing this stuff anyway? Hannah/Barbara? Until next time....
